Thread: Convenient info in one spot

Cool Convenient info in one spot

Pretty sure something like this will be implemented on some page in the future, but I often forget what mobs and stuff drop,
or how to move a piece of building material around. Thus, I've compiled a bit of information here from multiple other forum
    posts and from game experiences.

    CONTROLS (via Csaba's post)
    "W - Move forward
    A - Move left
    S - Move backwards
    D - Move right
    Shift - Sprint
Shift + LMB - Split items
LMB - use tools, collect items, place structures, attack
RMB - while you hold a structure it rotates some of them, or places items into the hotbar from inventory or from inventory to the crafting table
    I - Enter inventory
M - Brings up the map. Once you have a Compass and equipped it in one of accessories slots it will also show your position on the map and which way you are facing.
F - Put away the tool you hold and allow free hand mode
    E - use chests / forge / furnace
F8 - 3rd person (the current version we have in for debug reasons, it will be updated later to be a proper 3rd person view)
    Enter - activate chat
    Tab - voice chat
Number keys - selects the respective slot on your hotbar, if the hotbar is empty it selects your arms
Del - Remove placed items (resources are not coming back at the moment, it just removes structures)

Moving items can be done by dragging and dropping items between the inventory / crafting and chest slots."
    M- Open map in-game

    TIPS & TRICKS:
    • When collecting resources from trees, grasses, or berry bushes, stand as close as you can to the center to get all the dropped items in one go.
(You can stand directly on top of berry bushes. For trees, stand on the roots.)
    • Stay hungry- Food you eat regenerates your health in combat. The more hungry you are, the more you can regain HP in combat.
    • When the world is loading in, look for underground caves. These caves often are places to find Elite night mobs (goblins, imps, etc.). If you're looking for Elite souls, that's a good location.
    • When building, place stairs / ramps first. Often times, the natural incline of the ground or the placement of your foundations may not leave room for stairs, resulting in having to dig out an area to make room, or missing out on a staircase. Placing them first resolves this.

More information to be added as necessary.

Goblins and imps drop 1 coarse hide and 1 rancid meat
Golems drop 5 iron ore (maybe variable ie. 4-6 but I usually have other iron on me when I kill one)

There are Elite imps, goblins and golems... haven't seen an elite raptor yet

    Hi Scot,

    Nice Post!
To help with the missing information:
All elite creatures drop the same as the normal creatures, but they also drop a soul. Each soul has different boost to some of your attributes.
Also, each creature has an elite version in the game, but they are very rare.

The elite raptor spawn rate is super low D:
